In 2005 an Emperor Penguin colony was discovered on Snow Hill Island which is located in the Weddell Sea along the Antarctic Peninsula. On October 21st starting in Ushuaia, Argentina we set of on the Kaptain Klebnikov, a Russian icebreaker to photograph this rookery. This is a short slide show of some of the images taken and moments experienced during that voyage.
